Revisiting the past.

I am in the process of reworking one of my older models. The Ferrari render from years ago http://Rujero.deviantart.com/art/Ferrari-Occlusion-Render-V9-94848387 is one of my best examples of modeling. The truth is, when I took a deeper look at my technique, I found considerable mistakes. Through the passing of time and some practice I can now see important flaws that are relatively easy to correct. I am reworking the model in my free time and when I am done, I am confident I will have a better result.

James Cameron's "Avatar" is going to have some amazing visuals and it has inspired me to work on my 3D modeling. I found a high res photo of 'half' of a Na'vi head and used photoshop to make it into a decent enough front orthographic image. I'm going to play around with some geometry and see if I can model the face of one of these beautiful characters.
