Avatar is inspiring

Thu Nov 12, 2009, 6:44 PM
James Cameron's "Avatar" is going to have some amazing visuals and it has inspired me to work on my 3D modeling. I found a high res photo of 'half' of a Na'vi head and used photoshop to make it into a decent enough front orthographic image. I'm going to play around with some geometry and see if I can model the face of one of these beautiful characters.

Also, there's a program called Style Selector, which is portable and can apply any Vista visual style. the problem is that I can't find the download for it anymore. If you need that program, email me at webtrance@cox.net and I'll send it to you. ;)
